Steve Key is an award-winning songwriter, performer and recording artist, best known as the writer of “33, 45, 78 (Record Time)” recorded by country music star Kathy Mattea. He recorded for New York’s Fast Folk label, which is now part of the Folkways collection at the Smithsonian. In his 14 years on the Central Coast, he’s played the Live Oak Festival, and hosted hundreds of shows under the banner of Songwriters at Play. Katie Chappell can belt out an Etta James blues standard, and croon and heart-breaking country ballad too. She’s a strong country-rock vocalist, who digs deep for a passionate performance. Based in Paso Robles, she frequently performs at Central Coast music venues, cafes, and wineries.
